Lake Tahoe

It was time for a weekend of fun and sun in Lake Tahoe. What could be better than the mountains, the lake and the beach?  Rum Runners and Wet Woodys! We were warned that they were famous, but wow, they were absolutely delicious.  No wonder everyone is so happy over there!

The Beacon Bar & Grill in Camp Richardson is a popular Lake Tahoe hangout.  It is located right on the beach, and their signature drink, the Rum Runner, is poured all day long.  In case you can't get enough, they sell the mix so you can make more at home.

Best enjoyed while listening to live music!

Another Lake Tahoe Favorite is Riva Grill.  Their world famous drink is the Wet Woody.  Pineapple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice and 3 kinds of rum.  Need I say more?

I had a craving for French onion soup and this one really hit the spot.

Fried Zucchini sticks

BBQ Bacon Burger

Tuna Sashimi

Fire and Ice is a Mongolian Grill style restaurant in South Lake Tahoe.  We got to play executive chef and pick our ingredients, sauces and seasonings.  The entertainment is provided by the cooks as they juggle dishes on spatulas and toss plates acrobatically across the grill.
