New city.
New job.
New house.
New insta-family complete with 3 very energetic, fun little guys and one adorable big guy.
Aside from that, not much has changed :)
Before I left, my fabulous team threw me a going away party, complete with homemade sushi, chocolate dipped strawberries and one of the most creative fun cakes I've ever seen!
As I finally find some time to breathe and reflect on the last few months, I realize that the old saying "The more things change, the more they stay the same" actually rings true. Even among the craziness, my camera has not been far from my hands and my love affair with photography has continued in Colorado much like it did in California.
In California, there are beautiful green fields to take photos of.
Same in Colorado.
In California, I loved taking pictures of the water.
There is water in Colorado to photograph as well, but I think it is a little colder.
California is filled with sweeping, panoramic views.
So is Colorado.
In California, pretty yellow flowers grow, and beg to be captured in a photo.
I found some in Colorado too.
In California, there are beautiful trees, framing beautiful places.
And look, there they are in Colorado as well.
And at the end of the day when the sun sets over California, the sky is painted every shade of purple.
They must have the same color pallet in Colorado.
And for all these reasons, I have found my new home.
